This unique Hummingbird house is a hand crafted birdhouse that can be used as a nesting house for all types of birds and/or for decoration. It is built for outdoor use. You can hang it from a tree, a Shepards hook or place on top of a post.

The birdhouse is hand crafted from 3/4 inch solid pine wood which makes it long lasting. The pine wood is cut into several pieces and then hand sanded. Once all pieces have a smooth finish then they are nailed and glued to form the birdhouse. The birdhouse is then hand painted with primer and 2 to 3 coats of exterior paint. A small hook is placed at the top of the house for hanging.

The birdhouse has a nesting area inside the house. Small birds such as wrens, chickadees, house finches and nuthatches will nest in this house. Hummingbirds will not nest in the house as they like an open area. There is a opening in back of the house that can be unscrewed for cleaning. It has a small opening under the wings to ensure ventilation for nesting. The wood inside the house is natural wood and has not been painted to protect the birds and chicks. Lastly, there is a Metal ring around the entrance hole to discourage predators.

Measurements: Birdhouse including the body and wings is 9"H x 10"W x 16"L. The hole size is 1.25 inches.

I absolutely love this hummingbird! A lot of hard work went into this, and you can absolutely tell! So very impressed and so happy with the timely delivery and gorgeous product! I will definitely be ordering from the shop again! This is my second item from the shop, as I got a different one for my mom‘s birthday. She was ecstatic! The shop does amazing work. The paint of the hummingbird was done beautifully and I am just so impressed and happy with this product!
